Visibility (GEO + SEO)

Get AI to know you, describe you correctly and cite you.

First we measure which questions you already appear in. Then we rework your site, your content and your business information around those questions. Every month we run the same measurement again with Seodisias, our own product, and report what changed. We work on multilingual corporate sites, multi-location setups and large catalogs too.

01What is GEO

Ranking and being the answer are different things

SEO is about climbing Google's list of results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about getting into the answer an AI writes. When a language model answers, it reads a handful of sources and picks a few names. What decides that pick: how clearly your site explains itself, what other sites say about you, and whether your details match everywhere. GEO doesn't replace SEO. It sits on top of a solid SEO foundation.

  1. What SEO looks at

Where you rank for a query, whether people click, and whether your pages get crawled and indexed.

  2. What GEO looks at

Whether you're named in the answer, how you're described, which pages are cited, and where your competitors stand.

  3. The shared foundation

A crawlable, fast, well-structured site and content that says plainly who you are. Both feed on it.

02What's included

Five areas of work

Analysis

Visibility analysis

Together we pick the questions that bring business in your industry, separately for each market and language where needed. For each one we check whether you're named, where your competitors are, and which sites the answer relies on.

Content

Pages that answer the question

We build headings around real questions and put the answer in the first paragraph. We add short, quotable facts, FAQs and clear definitions. We rework your existing pages and suggest new ones where topics are missing.

Technical

A site machines can read

Structured data (Organization, Service, FAQ, Person), robots.txt access for AI crawlers, an llms.txt file, page speed, sitemaps and canonical URLs. Every technical setting a crawler needs to read your site cleanly.

Authority

Consistent business details and trust

Your company name, the address of every location and your services should read the same on your site, your Google Business Profile, directories and social accounts. We add E-E-A-T signals such as authors, credentials, certificates and update dates, and we track down outdated or wrong information on third-party sites and help get it fixed.

Tracking

Monthly measurement and reporting

We re-run the same question set every month and report what we did and how it shows up in the answers. Anything AI says about you that's wrong goes on a separate list. You can also follow reports and approvals in Pano.

Meet Pano
03Large sites

The size of the site doesn't change the method

Whether it's a corporate site with hundreds of pages or a single-language site, we ask the same question: which questions does AI name you in, and how does it describe you? The difference is the work that comes with scale, and we plan for it from the start.

  1. Multilingual sites

We measure each language with its own question set, and check that language versions are linked correctly and say the same thing.

  2. Multiple locations

The more branches, plants or facilities you have, the more addresses, opening hours and contact details drift apart. We keep every location's details in one list and make them match everywhere.

  3. Large catalogs

We don't hand-edit thousands of product or service pages one by one. We fix the templates, structured data and category pages, and roll the change out across the catalog.

  4. Corporate approval processes

We follow the approval order of your marketing, legal and brand teams. Every change is prepared on a preview first and doesn't go live until the required approvals are in.

04Process

From first analysis to monthly tracking

  1. Step 1

    Pick the questions

With you, we define 20-30 questions your customers actually ask and that can turn into business. We list your competitors at the same time.

  2. Step 2

    Baseline

We put the questions to the AI engines and run a technical crawl of your site. This first measurement is what every later month is compared against.

  3. Step 3

    Priorities

We rank the gaps by impact and effort and start with the work that moves the needle most for the least effort.

  4. Step 4

    Implementation

We make the content, technical and business-information changes. Nothing goes live without your approval.

  5. Step 5

    Monthly tracking

We measure the question set again, report the change and plan next month's work around it.

05Engines

Which AI engines we measure

Our measurement is built around four engines. If they matter in your market, we add Claude and Copilot to the question set too.

  1. ChatGPT

OpenAI's assistant. With web search on, it links its sources under the answer.

  2. Gemini

Google's AI assistant. Because it works closely with Google Search, a solid SEO foundation pays off here too.

  3. Perplexity

Lists its sources under every answer, which makes it a good way to see which of your pages get read.

  4. Google AI Overviews

The AI summary at the top of Google results. Where classic SEO and GEO meet.

  5. Claude and Copilot

Anthropic's and Microsoft's assistants. We include them especially for companies that sell to other businesses.

06Methodology

We track the trend over months, not a single answer

AI answers can shift within the same day, so we never draw conclusions from one response.

We ask the same questions under the same conditions and look at rates and the gap to your competitors month over month.

All of the measurement runs on Seodisias, a tool we build ourselves.

Questions mentioning you, of 25Sample
Mention rate
In how many of your questions you're named. The headline number for tracking.
Share against competitors
How often your competitors are named on the same questions. It shows where you stand in the market as a whole.
Cited pages
Which pages does the answer rely on? Yours, a directory, a competitor's blog?
Misinformation log
An old address, a service you no longer offer, a closed branch. We log what AI gets wrong about you and check every month whether it's been corrected.
Answer archive
We keep every answer we collect, so months later you can still see what was said in response to which question.
Note

Nobody controls what an AI engine says. We don't offer guarantees. We show you every piece of work we do and how it affects the numbers.

08FAQ

Questions about GEO

Are GEO, AEO and LLMO the same thing?

Mostly, yes. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the umbrella term for work aimed at generative AI engines. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) covers any system that answers questions directly, and LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) focuses on language models. The goal is the same: to appear in AI answers with accurate information and as a cited source.

Should we stop doing SEO and switch to GEO?

No. AI engines often draw on sites that are well crawled and strong in search indexes. We build GEO on top of SEO and look at both in the analysis.

How long until we see a change?

Technical fixes get crawled within a few weeks. Changes in AI answers depend on how often each engine updates and usually settle over months. That's why we recommend a tracking period of at least three months.

Do you guarantee results?

No. No agency can guarantee what an AI will say. We measure at the start and show you, side by side, what we changed each month and how the numbers moved.

Why don't you publish prices?

Because the work varies a lot with the number of questions and languages, the size of the site and the competition in your industry. After the free analysis we pin down the scope and send a written proposal.

Do I need a new website?

Usually not. Content and structured data changes can be made on your current site. If your platform blocks certain settings, we say so in the analysis report and explain the options.

An AI engine says something wrong about my company. Can it be fixed?

There's no correction button, but the source of the error can often be traced: an old directory listing, an outdated page, an inconsistent address. Once the source is fixed and the correct information is stated clearly on your site, engines pick it up over time. We check every month whether it's been corrected.
